Recommendation letter from my Law professor
In my 6th semester of university, I took a class on Communication Law. I found this class to be very challenging and fascinating. I excelled in this class and received an A on every assignment. After a meeting with my professor to chat about my career goals, he kindly offered to write me a letter of recommendation.
Here is an excerpt from the letter:
"Communications Law is, admittedly, a difficult course, and incorporates several hours of content that are commonly found in university law schools across the country. The course oftentimes incorporates a rules-oriented regime that engages a way of thinking that is in a way perpendicular to that of the creative, artistic minds of professional writers. I have been told that the course -a mandatory course for the program- can be intimidating at first. It is in this context that I was struck by Afton's determination to master the course content. She is, in a word, fearless, and this aspect of her personality was reflected in the excellent grades she received on her assignments, which consisted of a commentary on a legal case, a video rant on a media-ethics issue, and the three-hour final exam."
